What you do with Start-of-work meeting
Agenda from a template
The standard template covers project details, risks from the project's risk assessment, a top 3, pictograms from the ISO 7010 set and the emergency responder on duty. Items can be discussion points, open questions or multiple choice.
Sign any way you like
Attendees sign on a tablet in the site hut, in the employee app or via a QR code on their own phone, even without an account.
Attendee check per person
For each attendee you see whether certificates are valid, the gate instruction was completed, training is outstanding and the subcontractor is approved. A red or orange label warns but blocks nothing.
Daily start alongside pre-job
Choose whether you hold daily starts: no, voluntary or mandatory. The look-back block shows the agreements from the previous daily start and the reports made since.
TRA briefing with the crew
Link the approved TRA and choose which parts to discuss from the agenda suggestions it provides. On completion, the version discussed is recorded.
Report with signatures
Type the report, dictate it or let AI suggest a summary that you save yourself. The report PDF is the document for the client, with any missing signatures stated plainly.
How it works
- 1
Plan
Create a new meeting, choose the work, the template and the attendees, and send a push notification and email invitation.
- 2
Hold the meeting
Go through the agenda item by item and record what was discussed and agreed. Starting the meeting fixes the agenda and records the address and weather.
- 3
Collect signatures
Attendees sign on a tablet, in the app or via the QR code. Anyone who was not there is marked absent, with a reason.
- 4
Complete
You can only complete the meeting once mandatory items are covered and, if you require it, all attendees have signed. After that the meeting is read-only.
In the employee app
In the employee app, employees see the Start-of-work tile with their meetings, view the agenda, sign digitally and read back the agreements later. Whoever leads the meeting goes through the agenda on their phone and starts today's daily start with one tap.
A selection of what AI does in Start-of-work meeting
AI helps you prepare and write up a start-of-work meeting, but you decide what goes on the agenda and into the report.
AI suggests agenda items based on the project, the RI&E and earlier incidents on this job, and nothing is added unless you accept it.
AI drafts the report field from the items discussed and the agreements made, and it stays a draft until you save it.
On the AI tab you ask, for example, how many meetings were completed or where signatures are missing.
This is a selection of the AI capabilities in this module, not everything. AI suggests, you decide. Nothing is applied without your approval.

Questions about Start-of-work meeting
Do I need a separate meeting for every phase?
You decide that in the settings: one meeting per project, or one per phase or work package, either typed freely or chosen from a fixed list of phases.
A subcontractor has no phone with them. Can they still sign?
Yes. Add them to the attendee list and let them sign on your tablet.
Does a mandatory daily start block the work?
No. If a mandatory daily start is missing after the set time, the project managers are alerted and it shows on the dashboard. BrydgeOne only blocks completing a record, never the work itself.
Does changing a template affect earlier meetings?
No. Once a meeting has started, its agenda is fixed. Changing the template later does not alter the evidence of earlier meetings.
