Show who is trained for what, and see in time what expires

The Training module brings everything about training and competence together: the register of completed training, a catalogue of your own courses and e-learning, assignments with deadlines, sessions and the competence matrix per job role. Toolbox talks, gate instructions, e-learning and certificates flow into the register automatically. This lets you show who is trained for what.

Features

What you do with Training

E-learning with knowledge questions

Build e-learning with formatted course material, videos, documents and knowledge questions with a pass mark. From a linked document, AI creates course material and 3 to 5 knowledge questions, which you adopt and refine.

Assign with a deadline

Assign a course to one or more employees. They are notified and see it in the app under My training.

Plan and sign off sessions

Plan classroom training or practical assessments with participants, trainer and costs. On the day itself you record attendance and signatures on a tablet.

Starter package and refreshers

New employees are automatically assigned the mandatory training for their job role. When mandatory training expires, the platform schedules a refresher.

Assess effectiveness

Set per course after how many weeks a reviewer checks whether the training was effective. If it was not effective, the course is scheduled again straight away.

Employee-submitted proof

Employees add a diploma or certificate themselves in the app. It arrives as a proposal and only counts once you confirm it.

In practice

How it works

  1. 1

    Set up the catalogue

Define the format, validity and warning period for each course, and fill e-learning with course material and questions.

  2. 2

    Set role requirements

Choose which training is mandatory for each job role. The matrix and the starter package use this straight away.

  3. 3

    Assign or plan

Assign training, schedule missing training in one go or plan a session, all from the single New button.

  4. 4

    Take and record

Employees take e-learning in the app. Completed sessions, toolbox talks and certificates are added to the register automatically.

  5. 5

    Review and prove

Review open answers and effectiveness, and export the register or a personal overview per employee as a PDF.

In the employee app

In the employee app, under My training, staff see what they still need to do, take e-learning and submit their own diploma or certificate. Those not using the app can take e-learning via a personal PC link, without a platform login.

A selection of what AI does in Training

AI turns a linked document into learning material and knowledge questions, and you adopt and refine them.

Learning material from a document

For an e-learning with a linked work instruction document, AI turns it into learning material with sections and steps in one click.

Generate knowledge questions

AI creates 3 to 5 knowledge questions for the material, which you adopt and update.

Ask about training data

On the AI tab you ask questions about your own training data.

This is a selection of the AI capabilities in this module, not everything. AI suggests, you decide. Nothing is applied without your approval.

Preparing for VCA certification: a checklist for your organizationDo you want to become VCA certified or keep your certificate? Then you want to know in advance what an auditor looks at and what evidence you need at hand. This checklist helps you approach the preparation in a practical way. Organising a toolbox talk: topics, approach and recordsA toolbox talk is a short safety briefing on the work floor or in the workshop. Done well, it brings safe behaviour and attention back into daily practice. Here is how to choose topics, make the session interactive and record attendance. Toolbox topics: ideas by month, season and sectorThe best toolbox topics come from your own figures, supplemented with ideas for the season and your sector. Below you find a way to choose, a calendar per month and lists for construction, industry, installation, transport and food processing. Setting up a skills matrix: how to build a training matrix that worksSetting up a skills matrix means defining, per job role, which knowledge, skills and certificates are required, and comparing that with what your people can demonstrably do. That shows you who you can deploy safely where, and where you still need to train. Managing hazardous substances: register, safety data sheets and storageA hazardous substances register gives you an overview of which products your organisation has, where they are kept and how people work with them safely. Here is how to set it up, from inventory and safety data sheets to storage, instruction and substitution. Allergen management: building an allergen matrix and preventing cross-contaminationAllergen management makes sure a customer with an allergy never unexpectedly consumes an allergen. That takes an overview of what is in your products, separation in your process and clear information. This is how you approach it, from matrix to training. Implementing QHSE software: a step-by-step plan from Excel to a working systemYou implement QHSE software in steps: define your goal and scope, appoint an owner, start with one or two modules, set up roles, locations and templates, transfer existing data, run a pilot and then train the office and the shop floor. After a month, measure whether people really use the system, and only then expand. This plan applies to introducing a QHSE platform and to switching from Excel to QHSE software. Keeping your BHV organisation up to date: what to arrange, record and practise as an employerBedrijfshulpverlening (BHV), the in-company emergency response, is the first line in case of fire, accidents and evacuation. As an employer you organise BHV and appoint one or more BHV responders; how many you need and which training fits depends on your risks, your size and your buildings. Keeping it up to date mainly means knowing who is a responder, until when their training is valid, who is present, when you last practised and what you did with the outcomes. Writing a work instruction: structure, writing rules and a worked exampleA work instruction describes step by step how to carry out a task safely and correctly. You write it for the people who do the task, with short sentences, one action per step and photos where possible. This guide shows when you need one, how to structure it, what a worked example looks like and how to make sure employees know it.
Frequently asked questions

Questions about Training

What is the difference with Certificate management?

Certificate management handles the documents with an expiry date, including inspections and permits; Training handles the learning itself and competence per job role. If you link a course to a certificate type, a valid certificate automatically counts in the register and matrix.

Can an employee take e-learning without a platform login?

Yes, via the employee app or the personal PC link. Logging in to the platform is not needed.

Do toolbox talks count as training?

Yes. Toolbox talks set to count as training, passed e-learning, completed gate instructions and completed sessions appear in the register automatically.

Can I track training costs?

Yes. At the top of the planning tab you find the annual cost overview: sessions, participants, total costs and costs per team.
