Know per standard what still stands between you and the audit

The audit-ready check continuously answers one question per standard: what still stands between you and a successful audit? The answer is calculated from your own current data, without paperwork. You see the points of attention in order of severity, with a link to the module where you resolve them.

Features

What you do with Audit-ready check

A card per standard

For each activated standard you see the number of points of attention, a progress bar and how many to fix first. The detail page shows coverage per chapter, or per domain for standards with controls.

Alerts from your own data

The check flags, among other things, controls that are not yet under control, missing evidence or owners, open or overdue actions and expired document reviews, certificates and permits. A missing risk assessment, objectives, audit plan or management review also makes the list.

Checks specific to each standard

Besides the common checks, each standard has its own points of attention, such as environmental aspects without review for ISO 14001 or a missing satisfaction survey for ISO 9001.

Fix first at the top

Points of attention are sorted by severity, with the most serious under fix first. Each line links to the module where you resolve it and disappears automatically once it is sorted.

AI evidence assistant

Suggests suitable evidence for each clause without valid evidence. You decide what to link.

Auditor export as PDF

Produces the audit package per standard that you can hand to the external auditor.

In practice

How it works

  1. 1

    Open a standard

Pick the card of a standard on the start page and open the details.

  2. 2

    Work from the top down

In the weeks before an external audit, use the check as your daily work list: start with the fix-first points and click through to the module where you resolve each one.

  3. 3

    Complete the evidence

Use the AI evidence assistant for clauses without valid evidence, and link the evidence or update the status in the standards framework.

  4. 4

    Ready for the auditor

Create the auditor export (PDF) and hand the audit package to the external auditor.

A selection of what AI does in Audit-ready check

In the Audit-readiness check, AI proposes which evidence fits a clause; you decide what you link as evidence.

AI evidence help

AI proposes, per clause without valid evidence, which evidence would fit.

Clauses without evidence

AI looks at clauses without valid evidence, so you know where to look for evidence first.

This is a selection of the AI capabilities in this module, not everything. AI suggests, you decide. Nothing is applied without your approval.

Carrying out an internal audit: step-by-step plan and checklistAn internal audit tests whether your management system does what you agreed and whether it works. With a fixed plan it becomes a source of improvement rather than a paper exercise. This article walks through the seven steps, with a checklist. Implementing ISO 45001: a step-by-step plan for safe and healthy workISO 45001 is the international standard for an occupational health and safety management system. It helps you prevent accidents and work-related ill health rather than only recording them afterwards. This step-by-step plan shows how to put the standard into practice, from the first baseline to certification. Preparing for VCA certification: a checklist for your organizationDo you want to become VCA certified or keep your certificate? Then you want to know in advance what an auditor looks at and what evidence you need at hand. This checklist helps you approach the preparation in a practical way. VCA* or VCA**: which certificate fits your company?VCA* or VCA**: which company certificate suits you depends mostly on how you work and what your clients ask for. You get the difference in plain words, including VCA-P for the petrochemical sector, and a fixed way to make the choice. Writing an audit report: structure, phrasing findings and an exampleWriting an audit report means turning what you saw, heard and checked into a text that others can act on. A good report is short, factual and traceable, and also says what works well. Here is how to structure it and phrase your findings. Preparing for a certification audit: checklist for the final weeks and the day itselfPreparing for a certification audit is mostly about making sure you can show what you already do. This guide gives a checklist for the final weeks and audit day, describes what auditors often ask and explains how to handle findings. Carrying out an ISO gap analysis: how to run a baseline assessment for ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001A gap analysis, also called a baseline assessment, compares for each requirement of a standard what you already have with what is missing, and ends in an action plan with an owner and a deadline. You do it before implementation, shortly before the certification audit and when a new version of the standard appears. This guide covers the steps, an example result and the mistakes that make a baseline assessment useless.
Frequently asked questions

Questions about Audit-ready check

Does the check say we are compliant?

No. The check never claims compliance: the statuses remain your own assessment, exactly as an auditor looks at them. Readiness for controls is about how they are set up, not about conformity.

Why is a point on the list when we have already dealt with it?

Then it cannot yet be demonstrated in BrydgeOne. Link the evidence or update the status, and the point disappears automatically.

Is this the same as the gap analysis?

No. The gap analysis is a deliberate snapshot you work through yourself; the audit-ready check recalculates continuously and automatically.

Does the check differ per standard?

Yes. Besides the common checks, each standard has its own points of attention.
