Explanation
The BOCF is one register of control points. Each control point has assessment criteria, evidence that you link to it, an assessment, the gaps that follow from it and the actions to close them. That shows per topic at a glance where you stand and what still needs to happen.
Standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are selections on that register. If a control point belongs to several standards, you manage it once: the evidence and the assessment apply to all those standards at the same time. That way you do not set up and maintain the same things again for each standard.
BrydgeOne contains no standard text. The reference to the relevant paragraph in the official standard is something you add yourself from your own copy of that standard. The BOCF is therefore not a replacement for the standard itself, but a way to manage the work around several standards in one coherent overview.
Example from practice
A control point on the periodic evaluation of suppliers belongs to both quality and environment. You manage it once, with one piece of evidence and one assessment, and it counts for every standard you link it to.
